Another way is to boil coconut oil and gooseberry oil and use this oil for massaging on the hair and scalp.

2. Pepper And Lime Seeds

7. Red Gram And Pigeon Pea

We are prompt in cleaning all the pigeon pea as soon as we see it on our windowsill. Next time, before cleaning them out, try this simple home remedy for your hair. Red gram is a common ingredient in many hair care and growth formulae. Mix equal amounts of red gram powder and pigeon pea and apply on the scalp. Leave it for  fifteen minutes and wash with a perfumed shampoo to remove the offensive odour.

8. Onions

Onions have been used extensively in ayurveda for treating scalp infections due to its anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. Take slices of red onions and grate them. Extract the juice from the grated pieces and apply on the scalp. This can be left on for an hour or so and washed off. Slicing the onion into half and rubbing the inside part on the scalp every day for fifteen minutes too is known to cure infections and aid in faster hair growth. Another way to use onions is to add a few grated pieces to your shampoo and allow the shampoo to stand for fifteen days. This shampoo can be used for washing the hair.

9. Aloe Gel And Honey
