Lemon Juice

Lemon Juice suits all skin types since it is rich in vitamin C. The citric acid present in lemon helps in skin exfoliation and it also acts as an astringent, drying up the pimple rapidly. Just apply fresh lemon juice over the affected area, and just leave it on. It is advised not to go out in the sun when you have applied lemon juice, as it makes your skin sensitive to sun light.

Mustard

Mustard is not only is rich in vitamin C and zinc, but also has salicylic acid, which is the best component to fight pimples. All you need is a pinch of freshly ground mustard powder and one teaspoon of honey. Mix them together to form a mask, and apply this mask on the pimples for 15 minutes, before rinsing it off with cold water.

Baking Soda

A popular ingredient known for its anti-septic properties; baking soda can fight bacteria and dry up the excess oil from skin. Mix equal quantities of baking soda powder and water to form a paste. Massage this paste onto the skin for a few minutes and leave it on for another 15 minutes; washing it off thereafter.

Toothpaste

Yes, your everyday toothpaste can help you get rid of pimples! However, it is recommended to use the white toothpaste for this purpose, instead of the gel toothpaste. It works wonders, since it has a cooling effect on your skin; therefore reducing the oil secretion and drying up the pimple. Just dab the pimple with some toothpaste and leave it on overnight. Wash your face with cold water the next morning, and be surprised with the results.

Tomato

Tomato is not only high in anti-oxidants, but also adds radiance to your skin. It works as a brilliant astringent for the oily skin, and not only gets rid of pimples, but also the scars left behind. Simply apply the juice of tomato on the problematic areas, and just leave it on for oil free and clear skin.

Garlic

Garlic is a natural anti-septic; loaded with anti-oxidants and sulfur, which speed up the healing process of pimples. Just crush a clove of garlic and apply it on pimples. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. This would control the oil secretion and dry up the pimples fast.

Sugar Scrub

Sugar helps in unclogging the pores and gently exfoliating the skin to remove excess oil and skin cells. Make a sugar scrub with some sugar and honey, and gently scrub your face with this mixture, to open up and the clean the pores. With regular use you can not only have a clear and gleaming skin, but also prevent the occurrence of pimples altogether.

Cucumber

Cucumber cleans the dirt and excess oil from skin, leaving it refreshed. Since it is rich in potassium and vitamin, it also helps in drying off the pimples and soothing the skin. For this, just grind the cucumber into a paste and apply it on your face for 15-20 minutes. Wash your face with cold water afterwards and see the difference in just one application.

Green Tea

Green tea is packed with anti-oxidants and reduces oil secretion and inflammation. It also fights bacteria and makes your skin healthy and shiny. The process is very simple; just add some green tea leaves or a tea bag in a cup of hot water and let it steep for a few hours. Dab your face with this liquid using cotton and leave it on.

Egg Whites

Egg whites are another reliable remedy to get rid of pimples overnight. In addition to drying up the pimple, egg whites also help reduce the inflammation and redness in the skin. Simply apply egg whites on the affected area with the help of cotton and leave it on overnight. When you wash your face in the morning, you will be pleased with the outcome.
