Another effective ‘at home’ treatment that offers fast and efficient results is the use of mustard seeds. Grind mustard seeds to form a paste and apply on the ringworm patches on your skin. Continue the treatment for about 2 weeks until all the fungal infection is removed.
The strong anti fungal properties of apple cider vinegar will never disappoint us while treating ring worm infection. Apply apple cider vinegar on the patches on the skin and allow the skin to dry . Do not wash it off. The highly concentrated and acidic properties of vinegar will prevent the fungus from exerting its claws, thereby removing the infection completely.

Crush the leaves of cassia to form a paste and smear on the affected skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash off. You may also extract the juice and apply on the skin instead of the paste for easy use. Cassia leaves will remove the fungus within days with continuous application.
Raw vegetable juices have been found to cure and control a number of diseases and disorders. The juices that can be used for treating ring worm infections are carrot and spinach juice. Take 200 millilitres of spinach juice and 300 millilitres of carrot juice. Combine them to form half a litre of juice. Take this twice a day for best results. Slowly the fungus will be destroyed and the infection will clear off in days.
An exclusive diet of only fruits for a week is said to be beneficial in treating ring worm infection. This would include fruits like papaya, pineapple, apple, orange, pomegranate etc., all of which have great anti bacterial and anti fungal properties and help in removing the fungus causing infection on the skin. Once you have been on an all fruit diet for a week, you can add curd as well as milk along with this. This will cleanse the skin well and restore its glow.
A mud pack applied on the skin every day will prevent the fungus from spreading by leaving the area free from moisture. Apply the mud pack generously on the affected skin for half an hour every day. You may leave it overnight for best results.
Sunbathing in the morning sun gives a light ultra violet treatment to the fungus, stopping the fungal growth with every exposure. The heat of the sun can also play havoc with the fungal growth facilitating relief and recovery. However, make sure that you do not expose yourself to too much heat or in the afternoon sun which is very strong and can cause sunburn.
