In that case the image of distant objects is falling in front of the retina and not right on it. This is causing the problem with your distant vision. If you are continuing to put strain on the eyes and do not take remedial measures  the condition may get worse.

You should visit an ophthalmologist to see what needs to be done to rectify the problem. However, it is possible that he will prescribe glasses to wear. Surgery may also be recommended. Breathing Exercise Can Help

It has been seen that some breathing exercises can rectify the problem of nearsightedness. At least it can stop the progress of the disease. You can do such exercises at home and preferably in the early morning time.

For this first close the eyes. Now inhale with nose and exhale from mouth. Do this slowly, but steadily. Stay calm and practice this for at least 3 minutes at a stretch. You can do this two times a day. This will help to get some relief from the problems of nearsightedness.

Eye Exercise Can Be Good

Eye exercises can help you to fight nearsightedness. This idea is based on the belief that it is the eye muscles that need to be toned up to restore normal vision.

It is thought that by relaxing, strengthening or controlling the muscles holding the retina nearsightedness can be prevented. There are six muscles that hold the eyeball. You have to do some exercise to control these muscles and help your vision. You can learn the exercises from an ophthalmologist.

Fruits, Vegetable, Nuts

You need to take lots of vitamin to keep your eye in good condition and also to stop the condition from getting worse. Vitamin A, B, C, D & E are essential for good eyesight.

You can get these in apple, tomato, fish, dried fruit, nuts etc. Incorporate some of these in your breakfast or lunch and correct your nearsightedness.

Coconut Milk

Using coconut milk is a great natural way to boost your sagging vision. It contains almost all the essential vitamins such as vitamin B1, B3, B5, B6 as well as selenium, iron, calcium, sodium, magnesium etc. Some of these are very beneficial for your eyes.

It moisturizes the eyes. Moreover, the high percentage of magnesium helps to sooth the nerves. When the nerve cells are calm the contractions of muscles get reduced. This can be of help in bringing the vision to near normal.

Carrot

Carrot is high in beta carotene which gets converted to vitamin A which is an essential vitamin for your eyes. Taking sufficient amounts of carrot will deliver the required amount of beta carotene and therefore help in the cure of nearsightedness.
