Going gray can be due to various reasons. It is not necessarily associated with health problem. But, in some cases health problems are the main reasons behind premature graying. One should keep his/her eye on evaluating reasons for gray hair. Deficiency of Vitamin B12, pituitary or thyroid gland problems could also be the reasons for premature graying. If medical problems are the reasons for gray hair, proper care to be taken to cure the health problems which will surely reverse the premature gray hair problem.
Gray hair problem can be effectively treated with the Onion juice which is rich in enzyme catalase. Herbalists advice to rub onions on the scalps to cure gray hair. This procedure has been in practice long before the invention of hair dyes. It is one of the ancient remedies to prevent premature graying.
Amla or Indian Gooseberry is an effective natural remedy for the prevention of premature graying. Mix up dried gooseberries and almond oil or coconut oil. Rub and massage your scalp with this solution every night. You can also drink gooseberry juice every day in order to have quick results.
Another most effective natural remedy to get rid of premature graying is using henna as advised below. Mix up lemon juice and castor oil. Add some henna to this mixture. Apply this mixture to your scalp and hair. Leave it for half an hour. Wash it with shampoo. You have to follow this procedure every day.
Black tea is not only beneficial for the prevention of cancer and improvement of cardiovascular health. It also has great benefit for hair and skin. Follow this procedure to prevent premature graying.
Take 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of black tea in water. Boil it. Leave it for 2 minutes. Remove the flame. Let it cool. Strain it and wash your hair with this solution. Don’t rinse until it dries. Repeat this procedure for best results for 2 to 3 times a week. Finally, avoid stress and smoking. These are the two major culprits of gray hair problem.
Curry leaves and buttermilk are an effective remedy for premature grey hair. Grind curry leaves and add this smooth paste to buttermilk. Mix well and apply this pack on the hair. After 30 minutes, wash the hair.
