Though we have all heard that sugar is not good for our health but it is quite helpful for clearing the skin and getting rid of acne. On the other hand, coconut oil moisturizes the skin and gently cleanses the skin from deep within. It also contains antioxidants in abundant quantities making it perfect for smooth and glowing skin. Tea tree oil also helps to fight the bacterial that causes acne. Mix all the above mentioned ingredients together and use every night before bedtime to cleanse your face and get rid of acne.
Ground Orange Peel – 2 tablespoons
Ground Oatmeal – 2 tablespoons
Honey – 1 tablespoon
Orange peel has amazing anti-bacterial properties whereas ground oatmeal has the ability to cleanse the skin from inside out. Not only this, it also reduces inflammation and the redness associated with acne breakouts. On the other hand, honey moisturizes and softens the skin while killing the acne causing bacteria. Mix ground oatmeal and orange peel powder in equal quantities and add in a tablespoon of honey to prepare a thick paste. Add in a little water if required and use it to exfoliate your skin to get rid of acne.
Strawberries – 3
Honey – 2 teaspoons
Strawberries are a great source of salicylic acid which is the primary ingredient in most anti-acne skin care products. It encourages the top layer of the skin to shred, neutralizes bacteria and unclogs pores. Honey fights the acne-causing bacteria and helps subside inflammation caused due to breakouts. Mash up 3 strawberries and add in honey. Mix both ingredients together and use it to scrub your face gently. Let it sit on the skin for a minimum of 20 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.
