Movements may result in worsening of the problem of tendonitis. You could use your injured limbs after the paining stops. Continuing the activity with the injured limbs may lead to worsening of the problem.

Ice packs are found to be effective in curing the problem of tendonitis. Applying ice packs continuously for about 10 minutes and continuing this in every 5 hours can be useful in reducing the swelling as well as paining. Using a compression bandage can also be helpful in doing the matter completely and remarkably. This is one of the simplest remedies for the problem of tendonitis.

Massaging the affected limbs can be regarded as one of the commonly used remedies in the case of tendonitis. Applying mild compresses around the injuries can be valuable in reducing the inflammation of the injured tendons.

Keeping the wounded limbs over a pillow just above your heart level can be useful in curing the problem at a faster rate. This can be done when taking rest or sleeping.

Vitamin C is proved to be essential in reducing the inflammations very efficiently. Consuming food items rich in Vitamin C can be valuable in curing the problem. Oranges, papaya, red chilies, kiwi fruit, broccoli etc. are some of the Vitamin C rich food items that can be added to the daily diet of the person suffering from tendonitis. Having Vitamin C supplements can also be beneficial in curing tendonitis.

Eucalyptus is one of the important herbal cures used in the case of tendonitis. Eucalyptus is found to be effective in reducing the inflammations as well as paining caused due to tendonitis. An excellent paste can be prepared by pounding three to four leaves of eucalyptus along with a teaspoonful of coconut oil. Applying this paste over the affected areas of limbs can be helpful in relieving from the pain and swellings caused due to tendonitis.

Consuming nuts can also be helpful in lessening the inflammations very effectively. Peanuts, cashew nuts, walnuts, almonds etc. can be consumed in plenty along with other food items which can be regarded as one of the diet remedies in the case of tendonitis. Omega 3 fatty acids are also proved to be essential in reducing the inflammations. Consuming foodstuffs rich in omega 3 fatty acids can be helpful in curing the problem of tendonitis very effectively.
