Ice Pack
The first and the most important thing to do if you suspect a fracture is to apply ice. Apply ice cubes or prepare an ice pack and place it over the area of the fracture.
It will reduce the pain and the swelling. Do not use the ice for too long over the fractured area. Use it for a maximum of 20 minutes.
Pineapple And Pumpkin
Pineapple is good for the healing of fractures. Take a fresh pineapple and cut it into two halves. Taking one of the two pieces skin it and slice it. Eat the slices of this pineapple. Do not use canned pineapple and stick to using only fresh ones. Pineapple contains bromelain which reduces the swelling and inflammation and thus helps in the healing of the fracture.
Similarly, pumpkin is a very rich source of potassium and vitamin A. Pumpkin is easy to digest too and is also a good source of fiber. All these positive points of pumpkin make it the best healer in fracture. Consume pumpkin on a daily basis when you are healing from fracture.
Comfrey
This medicinal plant which is very useful in the case of fractures and broken bones. Take some comfrey, make a paste of it. Add it to water and boil it for some time. Take a cotton cloth and spread the comfrey paste over it.
Apply this cloth over the fractured area and with an elastic band secure the cloth in its place. Take care that pregnant women should not use it under any condition.
Arnica
Arnica plant is good for rebuilding fractured or broken bones. If you get the plant of arnica crush it and prepare a paste of it. Apply this paste to the area of the fracture. And tie it with a soft cloth. Arnica cream is also available in the market.
Apply this cream to the affected area and leave it overnight. Arnica is anti inflammatory and analgesic and it helps stimulate the circulation in the area it has been applied on. This helps the fracture to heal faster.

In a fracture, the bones either crack or break. These bones can be repaired naturally, by the diet you eat. To repair the broken bones your diet should consists of calcium rich foods, vitamin K rich foods, Lysine rich food, and vitamin C rich foods.
Calcium is necessary for the repair and regeneration of the bone cells. Vitamin K improves the body’s ability to absorb the calcium from the food. Lysine strengthens the tissues and muscles around the bones. Vitamin C strengthens the immune system.
