It is very beneficial to treat the entire category of anxiety disorders. If you suffer from panic or anxiety attacks, you may want to consider aromatherapy. These are natural fragrances of essential oils or herbs that have a calming effect on the human body.

It helps to reduce the accelerating pulse rate and sweating that comes along with the anxiety attack. Some of the natural fragrances include sandalwood, lavender, eucalyptus, jasmine and rose.

Diet Therapy

People have always been saying that what you eat has a direct effect on your mood and health. Most psychiatrists will give a greater importance to diet plans than medications. You need to avoid refined sugars, caffeine and high salt foods. You can stick to fresh fruits and vegetables.

The vitamins that you have to consume are namely vitamin B12, vitamin B3, folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin C. It is essential that you raise the quantity of these in your diet and not opt for supplements.

It is known to increase the healing power of the body along with correcting chemical imbalances in the brain in a natural way. You can consume zinc along with magnesium or potassium to increase the functioning of zinc in your body.

Some doctors suggest that due to the deficiency of zinc, people have induced mental disorders. Once the deficiency is corrected, they’re normal again.
