Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil has good anti-fungal properties that can help eliminate dandruff and provides relief from itchy scalp. Take some coconut oil and add half amount of lemon juice. Massage it for few minutes and wash hair after 25 minutes. Repeat this remedy for three to four times in a week.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one of the best treatments for dandruff. It helps in getting rid of dandruff as well restores scalp’s pH balance. It prevents the growth of yeast and acts as hair clarifier. It helps in cleaning the hair follicles and clogged pores.

White Vinegar

White Vinegar is very effective in getting rid of dandruff and prevents itching and growth of fungi on scalp. It has acetic acid that helps in preventing itching that result from dandruff. Add one cup of vinegar with two cups of water and after shampooing the hair, rinse your hair with this mixture. You can also massage scalp with two parts vinegar and one part olive oil with three parts of water. Rinse it off after 10 to 15 minutes and shampoo your hair. This can be repeated twice a week for better results.

Olive Oil

Olive Oil is an effective natural moisturizer that helps treat scalp dryness. Heat some olive oil and massage onto scalp. In a warm towel, wrap hair and leave for about 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, shampoo your hair and to get the best effects, repeat this remedy for 2 to 3 times in a week.

Baking Soda

Baking Soda is one of the best remedies that help to remove dead skin cells. It acts as mild exfoliant that helps absorb excessive oil and balances the pH level of scalp. After wetting your hair, rub onto your scalp approximately handful of baking soda. Rinse your hair with warm water after few minutes. Do not shampoo hair after this treatment and it can be repeated once or twice a week to see the results.
