Vitamin E is one of the most powerful antioxidants in nature. When used for skin care, it helps in quenching the free radicals that damage the skin cells. Frequent use of vitamin E rich face pack helps in slowing down skin aging. Vitamin E helps in maintaining the normal collagen production that keeps the skin elastic and reduces wrinkling of the skin. Vitamin E occurs naturally in a number of foods and plant oils. These natural ingredients when added to homemade face packs enrich them with vitamin E.

1. Aloe Vera Face Pack

Aloe vera gel is a good source of vitamin E. A face mask containing aloe vera gel helps in repairing the damaged skin and reduces inflammation. It soothes and hydrates the skin and improves complexion. To prepare a healing aloe vera face pack you will need gel extracted from two aloe vera leaves, juice of half a lemon and a tablespoon of honey. Mix the ingredients well and apply the mixture to your face and neck. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with water.

2. Avocado And Soy Yogurt

Avocado is an excellent source of vitamin E. It is packed with monounsaturated fats that keep the skin hydrated and delay skin aging. Soy milk is also a good source of vitamin E. A face mask made by combining yogurt made from soy milk with avocado helps in boosting the skin health. Scoop the flesh of a medium sized avocado. Mash it and mix with two tablespoons of soy yogurt. Spread the mixture on your face and neck. Relax for about 20 minutes. Wash off with water.

3. Sweet Almond Oil Face Pack

Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin E. When combined with nutrient rich banana and used as a face mask, it works wonders for the skin. It helps in reducing fine lines and wrinkles and adds a natural glow to the skin. To prepare the face mask you will need ½ banana, one tablespoon sweet almond oil and one tablespoon honey. Mash the banana. Blend the mashed banana with almond oil and honey. Spread the mixture on the face and neck. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse.

4. Olive Oil Face Pack

Olive oil is widely used as a moisturizing ingredient in face packs. It is a good source of vitamin E. It is best suited for the dry skin. To prepare a moisturizing vitamin E rich face pack you’ll need one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, juice of half a lemon and an egg yolk. Beat the egg yolk and mix in the lemon juice and olive oil. Evenly spread the mixture on your face and neck. Relax for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

5. Wheat Germ Oil Face Mask

Wheat germ oil is the best natural source of vitamin E. A face pack that contains wheat germ oil moisturizes and nourishes the skin and delays appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. To make wheat germ oil based face mask you’ll need one teaspoon of wheat germ oil, one tablespoon of finely ground oat, one tablespoon honey, one egg yolk and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Combine the ingredients to make a smooth paste. Apply the paste to your face and neck. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash off with cool water.
