Nausea is a feeling of vomiting tendency which is caused mainly due to indigestion, stress , fatigue, anxiety, chemotherapy, appendicitis, medicinal side effects, alcohol intake and even pregnancy.
It causes a lot of uneasiness and discomfort to the body, especially to the upper stomach and the upper part of the body. In this situation, we are unable to enjoy, work or focus on anything due to constant urge to vomit.
It is not a disease or disorder in itself, but can certainly be the symptom of an underlying disorder or disease, if nausea attacks are very frequent. These attacks are often unexpected or sudden. Therefore, in order to get quick relief, it is best to put into application, those ingredients, which are already close at hand.
Ginger is not only a spice that add to the taste of any food, but has been known since ages for its medicinal properties. Sucking on slices of freshly cut lemons provide a refreshing feel against nausea. Squeezing in fresh lemon juice in water and sipping the drink is another great option.
