1. Lemon Juice:

Lemon juice is one of the best known natural bleaching ingredients. Citric acid present in lemon juice helps in lightening the skin. It is applied to the darkened areas of the skin to reduce excess melanin synthesis. Prepare facial bleach by combining the juice of one lemon with two tablespoons of milk. Gently massage the pigmented areas with the mixture. Leave the lemon juice and milk mixture on the skin for a few minutes. Rinse off with water.

2. Yogurt:

Yogurt contains lactic acid, which is known for its bleaching effect. Massaging the skin with plain unsweetened yogurt helps in breaking down the dead skin cells. By exfoliating the skin, it helps in fading the dark spots and blemishes and lightens the complexion naturally. Combine one teaspoon of plain white yogurt with a teaspoon of honey. Rub the mixture on your face, focusing on the darkened areas. Let the yogurt and honey mixture sit on your skin for a few minutes and then rinse.

Oatmeal is known for its mild bleaching effect. An oatmeal facial mask helps in brightening the dull skin. Mix one teaspoon of finely ground oatmeal with half of a teaspoon of honey, one egg yolk, one teaspoon of aloe vera gel and half a teaspoon of orange or lemon juice. Gently massage your skin with the mixture. Leave it on your face for about 30 minutes. Wash off with water.
