It is important to keep the scalp and hair properly moisturised to control dandruff.

Fenugreek seeds (methi seeds) are very commonly used in households. They are effective in reducing the occurrence of dandruff. Fenugreek seeds have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. These help in removing the white flakes which are present due to dandruff.

Use Of Lemon

Lemon is very common kitchen ingredient used for hair, scalp and dandruff. Lemon is a citrus fruit which has various nutritional properties. Lemon has vitamin C present. It is acidic in nature and helps in keeping away dandruff. Lemon juice extract can be applied or even raw lemon can be applied directly on the scalp. Lemon helps in keeping away immensely. You need to apply lemon regularly till you do not feel that dandruff has disappeared completely.

Using Salt For Keeping Away Dandruff

Salt helps in keeping dandruff at bay. Add some salt to your dry scalp and give yourself a massage on the scalp. You will observe that the dry and flaky skin have come off. Then you can shampoo your hair and get rid of some dandruff.
