6 Ways To Use Aloe Vera And Coconut Oil For Health

Aloe Vera and coconut oil are both natural ingredients, of course they have some common benefits and properties, which makes it easier to use them together. The coconut oil is extracted from the coconut trees by boiling the cream. Aloe vera on the other hand is a herb that is easily grown in most homes. You can just scoop out the pulp and start using the plant without much fuss. But the combination of the aloe vera with coconut oil is very effective and beneficial.

Here Are Some Ways To Use The Same:

1. For Dry Hair

Mix together 1/2 cup of coconut oil and along with 3-4 spoons of the aloe vera gel. Then hit this lightly over the gas so that the aloe melts. You can use this oil instantly or even store it for weeks to come. Coconut oil helps in preventing dry hair and scalp issues, while nourishing the hair and providing shine. Aloe on the other hand adds lustre and prevents hair fall too.

2. Treating Dandruff

For treating dandruff you need to take about 1/3 cup of coconut oil along with 4 spoons of aloe vera gel. To this mixture, add about 2 spoons of lemon juice. Do not heat the oil now. Just whip till it turns smooth and the aloe vera melts. Apply this on scalp to root. The dryness is combated by the coconut oil while the lemon juice fights the dandruff. Aloe vera prevents infections that occur commonly because of the dandruff.

3. For Sensitive Skin

People with sensitive skin tend to suffer from an intolerance of various kinds of oils and creams. But the benefit here is that coconut oil has soothing and healing properties, along with being mild on the skin, especially the extra virgin coconut oil. You just need to mix 1 spoon of each and then make sure that the aloe is melted. Then apply the same on the face and neck or even the body. It soothes and provides nourishment to sensitive skin, without leading to reactions.

4. Tan Treatment

Tan can be treated with the aloe vera and coconut oil mixture. It also helps to get rid of the problems like sun burn. For this remedy, you have to take about 1/2 cup of coconut oil along with the same quantities of the aloe vera gel. Then mix it up well. Now apply this all over the body and the tan areas. Not only will the oil lighten your skin, but the soothing gel helps in getting rid of all the symptoms of sun burn and dryness.

5. For Internal Consumption

A lot of people are not aware of this fact, but aloe vera, in fact is consumed for providing better immunity, fighting infection and also to improve body functions. Also, extra virgin coconut oil contains Lauric Acid, which is found in mothers milk. This helps in improving immunity. Mix together 1 spoon of both ingredients and swallow. You can have it water or mix it with food too.

6. For Massage And Fighting Cellulite

Are you tired of the stretch marks and the visible cellulite on your skin. Then massage your body with a mixture of aloe vera with some coconut oil. Not only does it have a soothing effect, but coconut oil is rich in vitamins too. This helps to fight off cellulite. Along with this, aloe vera helps you get smooth and clear skin. Regular massage with the same also helps in getting rid of stretch marks.
