Piles is one of the common problems that occurs is large number of people and is mainly caused due to lack of physical activity, low fiber diet, constipation, prolonged standing or sitting, food allergies and there can be many other reasons for piles. They are also known as hemorrhoids. It happens when veins in the rectum and anus becomes inflamed and swollen. There can be internal as well as external hemorrhoids, internal is where it develops inside the rectum and external is where it lies just below the skin and around the anus. There are various symptoms of piles such as urge to bowel movement, bleeding during bowels, blood clots around the anus and others. Piles can occur at any age and most of the people experience piles during sometime in their life. In ladies, they can occur during pregnancy and most common in elderly people. People who eat a high fiber food or diet are less likely to get the hemorrhoids. They should be treated and should not be left untreated for long period of time as it can result into other complications such as strangulated piles, anal cancer, chronic blood loss and others.

Ripe Banana

You can boil one ripe banana in approximately one cup of milk and mash it well. You can take this for three times in a day.

Bitter Gourd

You can extract the juice of bitter gourd by crushing some bitter gourd leaves and mix about three teaspoon of juice in about one glass of buttermilk. You can drink this for a month every morning on an empty stomach.

Buttermilk

You can add ¼ tsp of ajwain (carom seed powder) in a glass of buttermilk with a pinch of salt and drink this one or two time in a day.

Figs

You can wash four figs and soak for overnight in a glass of water. You can eat these figs empty stomach at the morning time.

Radish Juice

You can drink radish juice about half a cup in the morning time and night for a month.

Ice Packs

You can apply ice packs on your anus area to get some relief from swelling.

Intake of Fluids

Drink at least eight glasses of water and stay hydrated to prevent getting piles.
