Fennel

You must be having fennel seeds at home. This is a very effective herb as far as recovery from hangover is concerned. It has a restorative character, and it helps in normalizing the liver function which is disturbed due to presence of alcohol in blood.

Steep some fennel seeds in water in the night when you come home drunk, leave it overnight and drink the water in the morning. You will feel relieved.

Evening Primrose Oil

It has been seen that evening primrose oil has the ability to alleviate liver and stomach discomfort. You need to take some load off the liver since it is working under pressure to bring back normalcy in the body. With evening primrose oil you can do that. It is available over the counter in many drugstores.

Green Tea

Tea itself is helpful in curing hangover, but green tea is more so. But you should refrain from having coffee. Coffee is a diuretic, meaning that it promotes urination and make the hangover worse.

Take a cup of green tea with some lemon juice added to it to increase the vitamin C content. This may have a dramatic effect on hangover.

Ginger

This household herb is very soothing for the lining of stomach. It also helps with digestion, prevents nausea and alleviates headache. In fact, a cup of ginger tea can be one of your best friends in your fight to get out of the feeling of hangover.

Oregano

This is another herb that is found to be perfect for hangover. It settles the stomach which is a big relief from the symptoms of hangover. It can be taken as tea.

Peppermint

Peppermint is soothing for the stomach, calming for the agitated nervous system and helpful for the digestive system.

Take the help of this allrounder herb to alleviate the symptoms of hangover. Take a cup of peppermint tea to feel better.

Thyme

Thyme is helpful in resolving stomach problems. Moreover, it has the ability to sooth tired and tensed muscles. T
