Egg Mask

Egg contains minerals like zinc, sulphur, iodine, phosphorous and so on along with the high protein content in it. Raw egg after whipping can be applies to hair from the root to the tip. Leave the mask for some time after covering it. Rinse with a mild shampoo in cold water. Whipped egg can be mixed with any oil like coconut oil or olive oil and the mask can be applied. Even curd can be added along with lemon so as avoid the foul smell. Leave the mask for about an hour. Rinse with cool water and a mild shampoo.

Banana Mask

Banana is called the poor man’s fruit as it is inexpensive however the nutritional content in it is very high which makes it a healthy fruit. Bananas contain potassium and also moisture content that is required to rectify your dry hair problem. This helps to prevent the damage in the hair like split ends and also softens the hair. Smash a ripened banana and apply that to your scalp. Leave the mask for some time and then rinse off. Another alternative is to mix the smashed banana with almond oil and honey and apply the mixture. This way you can get nutrients from three very highly nutritional products.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is something that is easily available in our surroundings. It contains properties which are helpful to prevent dry hair like maintaining the PH scale of the scalp. Scrap the gel out of the fresh aloe veraleaf and apply the same to the scalp. Leave it for some time and then simply rinse off. Another way is to mix the freshly scraped aloe vera with powdered fenugreek sees and basil powder. Apply the mask, after leaving it on to your head for some time. Or even a mask prepared out of aloe vera mixed with crushed hibiscus flower can do wonders.

Olive Oil

Olive oil has high content of vitamin E and is also rich with antioxidants which helps to add shine and to get back those lustrous strands. It even restores back the lost moisture of the hair. Olive oil can be heated a bit so that the temperature remains warm and then massaged into the scalp. Leave it overnight. Or if that is not possible then heat water damp a clean towel in that and cover your scalp using that for about half an hour and then rinse off using a mild shampoo and cool water. Repeat the exercise frequently for best results.

Honey

Honey has properties that helps in retaining the moisture in your hair. This helps to make the hair look shiny, soft and nourished. Pure honey can be directly applied to the scalp or alternatively or for more effective mask honey can be mixed with olive oil along with glycerine. Apply the mask on to your hair. Leave it for a while. Rinse off using a mild shampoo in cold water. Repeat the process at least once a week for extravagant results.

Vinegar

One of the reasons for dry and frizzy hair is the residue which is left over by the use of various styling products and even shampoo. Vinegar contains properties which help to remove this residue. It even helps to restore back the PH level of the scalp along with prevention of dandruff and itching, which are again major reasons for dry hair. Mix a glass of vinegar with a glass of water and use the solution to rinse your hair after the normal wash is done. Or you can even massage the solution on to your hair after the shampoo is done. Leave it for some time and then rinse off again normally without the use of shampoo.

Beer

Beer is a very good and effective hair conditioner. It contains proteins which is an essential for healthy hair. After the hair wash is done, when the hair is still wet spray beer on to your hair and leave it for natural drying without combing.
