Clove oil is also effective in reducing the tooth pain when mixed with salt and ground black pepper.

Garlic

Garlic is natural and safe home remedy for tooth pain. Apply garlic to the affected tooth with a pinch of salt. Garlic can also be chewed and it helps in preventing the cavities, thus maintaining the oral health and strengthening teeth.

Onion

Place an onion piece on the gum or affected tooth. It helps in providing relief from toothache as it has an antibacterial property which is quite effective when placed upon an affected tooth. You can also consume a piece of onion a day when suffering from toothache to get some relief.

Whiskey

Vanilla Extract

Vanilla extract can be used as mouthwash as well as a cotton ball can be soaked in vanilla extract and applied to the affected tooth. It helps to numb the affected tooth, thus providing relief from toothache.
