Beetroot and Apple Juice
Apple is rich in iron along with many other health friendly components. On the other hand, beet- root is high in folic acid as well as fiber and potassium. While you can always have an apple or two in a day, when you mix with beet with apple, your chances of fighting off anemia doubles up. You can take apple juice and beet-root juice with honey and have it twice a day.
Sesame seeds
Sesame seeds are yet another ingredient that may excellently work to treat anemia. Especially the black sesame seeds are a rich source of iron. Get sesame seeds and honey one teaspoon and soak them in water. Allow it to soak for two hours, after that strain the water and make a paste with honey. You can use the sesame paste for two times in a day.
Blackstrap Molasses
This is the folk remedy to fight with anemia. Blackstrap molasses not only contain high levels of iron and folic acid. There are many B vitamins too in molasses. With all these components, molasses can increase red blood cell production in an efficient way. What is important is that even people suffering from diabetes? Take 2 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar the same amount. Add one cup of water to it and blend them well. Take it once in a day.
Spinach
Just a half cup of spinach daily is what you need to cure your anemia. This dark green leafy vegetable is high in Vitamins A, B9, E and C, iron, fiber, and calcium and beta carotene. So, include spinach in your daily diet. Boil half a cup of spinach in a cup of water to make a soup. Add your favorite seasoning to make it tasty. Have this soup twice a day. Add two teaspoons of honey to a glass of spinach leaf juice. Drink this juice every day, at least for 40 days.
Tomatoes
Just having more iron is not sufficient. You should be able to absorb that iron too. For this, among other foods, you can have tomatoes for best results. Tomatoes are rich sources of Vitamin C and lycopene. Vitamin C is needed by your body to absorb iron. Drink a glass of tomato juice every day. Add tomatoes while making your dishes.
Pomegranate
Pomegranate can be called a super fruit because it has too many beneficial components within it. It has protein, carbohydrate, fat, fiber and sugars too. More importantly, it has iron and calcium. Take pomegranate (about 200 g) every morning on an empty stomach. Have a glass of pomegranate juice every day with your breakfast.
Dates
Dates are an excellent remedy for treating anemia. Dates are rich in 0.90 mg of iron, magnesium, copper, manganese, and calcium. Copper in dates will help you to increase the production of red blood cells. Take 2 or 3 dry dates and place in water overnight and eat them in early morning on empty stomach.
