7 Yoga Poses To Fight White Hair

Losing your natural colour of hairs before 35 is shocking!! This unnatural whitening of hairs or premature greying of hair can be due to various reasons. Some of them being stress, thyroid, nutritional deficiency, anaemia or hereditary issues. It presents an embarrassment situation in front of people. To avoid such embarrassment you need to find out the possible reasons behind the problem and take corrective measures. Yoga is known to restore harmony in the body. There are specific yoga poses that are good for your hair. It comprises of body movement that ensures good amount of blood flow to the scalp region. With the increase in blood circulation your hair also get sufficient amount of required nutrition to maintain its shine, colour and density. In this article we will tell you about seven yoga poses to fight against white hair.

Here Are The 7 Yoga Poses To Fight White Hair:

Camel Pose:

To perform this pose, you need to come on your knees and maintain six inches distance between them. With the support of your hands try to bend in backward direction and hold the right ankle with the right hand and vice versa. Look towards the sky. Straighten your thighs and push your abdomen in forward direction. Stay in this position for a few seconds and return to starting position.

Plough Pose:

You need to lie down on your back and keep the hands by your side. Palms should face downwards. Slowly raise your legs such that it forms a right angle to the ground. Bend your legs backwards above the head so that the toes go beyond the head and touch the ground. Press the chin against the throat. You can support the back with the help of your elbows touching on the ground. Stay in this position for a few seconds and return to starting position.

Triangle Pose:

To do this pose you need to stand erect keeping three feet distance between your legs. Raise both the hands and keep them in line with the shoulders. Bend towards the right hand side and touch the toes of the right leg with the fingers of the right hand. Now lift the left hand to face in upward direction towards the left hand. Try to be in this position for a minute. Repeat the same step with your left side.

Cobra Pose:

To do pose you need to lie down on your belly. Keep your legs together. Let the toes point in the outward direction. Keep your hands on either side of the chest. Palms should face the floor. Now lift your chest and the forehead and look in upward direction. Arms should be straight. Stay in this position for a few seconds and return to starting position.

Downward Facing Dog Pose:

You need to sit on the fours. Your knees and palms should touch the ground. Exhale air and raise your knees above the ground. Pull yourself in backward direction. Stretch your arms and support your legs on the toes. Pull your hips in upward direction so that the body takes the form of an inverted V. Your head should face down and completely stretch the arms further.

Shoulder Stand:

Lie on the back. Raise your legs, hips and back so that they all come up high on the shoulders. For supporting your back use your hands. By pressing elbows to the ground, straighten your legs and spine. Let your body weight get supported on the shoulders and upper arms instead of your head and neck. Keep deep breathing while maintaining this posture for a few seconds. Now slowly lower the knees to forehead region. Without raising your head bring the spine down to the ground. Lower your legs to the ground.

Standing Forward Bend:

Stand erect. Join both the legs together. Slowly bend your upper body forward and come down so as to touch the toes with the fingers of your hands. Be in this position for a few seconds and come to the standing position.

Along with paying attention to your diet, you need to perform these yoga poses on a daily basis to prevent premature greying of your hair.
