Cellulite is uneven and bumpy appearance on the skin, which occurs due to too much of fat deposition, that results in breaking through the connective tissues of the upper layers of the skin. Knuckle Massage

In this massage technique, the knuckles are used to target the pressure points to break the fatty areas and improve the blood circulation. When adequate pressure is applied to the points they break the fat in that region.

Kneading Massage

Just as we knead the dough, the areas of cellulite are massaged with a carrier oil in kneading movements. This is a very age old technique that focuses on improving the blood flow by the use of hands and fingers in the respective areas to loosens up the fat.

Wringing Massage

In this method, we wring the cellulite areas of the body with the hands to loosen the fat deposits. The main aim of this kind of massage is to reduce the bulges and lumps of the broken connective tissues.

Brush Massage

This is a dry brushing technique in which the body is dry brushed with the help of a soft brush to exfoliate the dead skin and target the lymph nodes and cellulite deposit areas. It improves blood circulation and helps in breaking the cellulite fats. Brush lightly and follow this regime regularly to open the pores of these areas to stimulate sweating and loosening of the bulges.

Myofascial Massage

This is a very effective technique that has to be carried out by a therapist, which is aimed at removing the imbalances in the fat depositions in the body. This massage is performed by making small folds in the skin with the use of fingers and thumb, to stimulate the blood circulation without causing pain in that area.

Vanilla Scrub Massage

This massage aims at tightening the pores of the skin and removing excess water from the pores and tissues to tighten the skin. Make a scrub by adding a cup of used coffee grounds, 1/2 cup olive/coconut oil, 1 cup of sugar, and a tsp of vanilla, mix together in a blender and the scrub is ready. Massage the cellulite-laden areas of the body with this scrub for 5 minutes and then leave for 15 minutes, to minimize the cellulite by loosening up the fat deposits.

Coffee Scrub Massage

Take some used coffee grounds and add honey to it. Massage the cellulite rich areas with this scrub and leave for 15 minutes before washing the skin. The scrub will penetrate into the layers of the skin and work on the fat deposits to ease them and tone the pores of the skin.

Massaging With Herbal Extract And Seaweed Product

Combine an herbal extract with seaweed product and grind them together to get a paste. Now massage the cellulite areas with this scrub, by kneading well to allow the ingredients to penetrate into the layers of the skin. This can be washed off after a while and should be followed by drinking a lot of water to promote hydration in the skin.
