Hydrate With Water

One of the simplest, easiest and most effective home remedies to combat a hangover is water. Dehydration is one of the main causes of hangover while drinking and dehydration can worsen the hangover after drinking.

So it is important to hydrate your body as much as possible. Water helps control the nausea and hammering head ache which are mainly caused due to the dehydration. Drink 8-10 glasses of water and avoid caffeine, which can further dehydrate your body.

Squeeze Lemon

Lemon juice or lime tea provides an instant relief to the troubled stomach and helps in detoxifying the stomach. Have fresh lemon juice or lemon tea as frequently as possible to reduce the hangover effect from your body. Prepare lemon tea without sugar. Squeeze a fresh lemon to make a refreshing lemon juice to give instant relief to the upset stomach.

Chew Ginger

Go Bananas

Lot of minerals like potassium are drained out from your body due to the excess intake of alcohol and subsequent frequent urination. Banana helps in regaining the lost minerals.

Eat banana directly or have a banana shake with a tablespoon of honey in it. Banana shake soothes your stomach and the honey helps in regaining the lost blood sugar.

Refreshing Juices

Over consumption of alcohol not only dehydrates your body, but it drains out a lot of minerals and throws the blood sugar levels out of balance. It is necessary to replenish the loss in order to recover from a hangover. Freshly prepared juices can help you compensate and regain your health. Fresh tomato juice contains fructose which can help in metabolizing the alcohol faster.
