Excessive thirst and hunger, undue fatigue, blurred vision and frequent urination are some of the main symptoms.

Bitter Gourd
Bitter gourd is one of the most easiest and effective remedies for keeping the blood sugar under control. It has remarkable antioxidant properties which help to reduce the glucose levels in the blood. It stimulates the production of insulin in the pancreas and reduces the amount of glucose that is released into the blood.
Take two fresh bitter gourds shred and blend them with a little water in a mixer. Squeeze the pulp to extract the juice. Though the juice is very bitter, its regular intake will keep your diabetes under control.
Jamun
Jamun is very effective in reducing and regulating the glucose levels in the blood. It is rich in vitamins and minerals which stimulate the liver and help digestion. Eat the fresh fruit as much as possible. You can also prepare a decoction by boiling the ripe fruit in water and drinking it two or three times daily.

Jamun Seeds
Jamun seeds are very effective in keeping diabetes under control. The seeds have antidiabetic properties which reduce the sugar level in the blood and keep it under check. Dry the jamun seeds and grind them into a fine powder. Store it in an airtight jar. Swallow one teaspoon of this powder with water every morning on an empty stomach and one teaspoon in the evening.
Curry Leaves
Curry leaves have many curative and healing properties. They are very useful in curing and preventing diabetes due to hereditary factors. They have weight reducing properties and aid digestion. They keep the glucose level in the blood from becoming high and stop diabetic patients from passing sugar in the urine. Chew ten to twelve fresh curry leaves every morning on an empty stomach.
Garlic
Garlic contains allicin which is very effective in maintaining the blood sugar level. If you chew two or three cloves of garlic every morning your diabetes will always keep under control.
