If you are suffering from chronic dehydration then drinking a cup of buttermilk mixed with half a teaspoon of dry ginger for about three to four times during the day can be really effective.
Even sipping freeze bottled water in frequent intervals can also give you a lot of relief and cool your body.

Sometimes muscle aches and cramps also occur due to acute dehydration in that case vinegar can become your new best friend.
Adding 8 ounces of apple cider vinegar to the warm water and then taking a warm bath can be really soothing and relax your muscles to a great extent.
During the summers in order to prevent dehydration it is important that you have light and less spicy diet. Have plenty of water, citrus fruits and light cooked food so that your body remains cool even in intense heat.
