Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is an excellent herbal remedy deriving from tea tree plant which has a long history of medicinal use containing anti-bacterial, anti-septic and anti-fungal properties thereby helping to treat boils and helping to relieve from pains as well discomfort.

It is a simple procedure by just dabbing a cotton swab into tea tree oil and applying the oil onto boil or carbuncle using the cotton swab. Repeat this three to four times a day. Boils are very infectious and can spread easily therefore make sure you dispose the swab after use.

Turmeric

Turmeric is one of the best trusted remedies for curing boils containing anti-inflammatory, blood purifying and healing properties allowing the boils to burst them on own automatically. Turmeric consumed internally also helps in healing the boils within three days.

Just add one teaspoon of turmeric powder in warm water and consume this three times a day for best results or if you can’t take internally, prepare a turmeric paste mixed with water using externally applying on the boils. Apply this paste three times a day.

Parsley

Parsley is a very popular herb, which acts as a natural poultice helping to treat boils. The leaves of parsley play a very important role helping to make the boils soft.

To make use of parsley, boil parsley leaves in water until it turns soft and juicy. Once it cools down, wrap the leaves in a cloth and apply directly to the boils, helping to get rid of the boils.

Epsom Salt

Epsom salt contains anti-microbial and anti-septic properties helping to absorb moisture from the area, thereby drying out the boil.

Epsom salt acts as natural poultice and helps to draw out boils and carbuncles within few days. Mix 2 tablespoon of Epsom salt with water to prepare a thick paste and apply to the boils, leaving on the skin for 10 minutes and then rinsing well with cool water. Repeat this two times a day.

Ginger Tea

Ginger tea works like a charm in treating boils. Ginger tea helps to accelerate the pus formation by using a warm compress. Ginger tea compress should be placed onto your boil leaving it for 15 minutes and is to be repeated four times a day for desired results.

Herbs such as fenugreek, cumin seeds, castor oil, garlic, betel leaves and vinegar also help to cure boils.
