Effective Herbal Remedies For Bedwetting

Bed wetting is an embarrassing situation which can be seen in all age group people. Bed wetting is a common problem in children. This problem is also known as enuresis.

There are numerous reasons which may contribute to bed wetting such as bladder infections, hormonal factors, urinary infections, stress and genetic disorders. But, you need not to worry as there are number of herbal remedies which help in controlling bed wetting.

Herbal Remedies For Bedwetting

Parsley

Parsley is an important herb which is helpful in controlling the problem of bedwetting. Add parsley in your daily food. This will offer fibre to remove constipation which may cause bedwetting sometimes. Experts recommend to intake this herb in the afternoon meal as it will take sufficient time to effect.

Oat Straw


Oat straw has got several properties which helps in reducing bedwetting easily. This herb also helps to control your nervous system. You can use both leaves and stems of this herb. Alternatively, you can also prepare tea of this herb.

Horsetail

To overcome the problem of bedwetting, you can also go for horsetail. This herb is good for treatment of bedwetting because of its diuretic properties. These herbs are also available in the form of capsules. Open this capsule and mix it with a glass of milk. Drink this milk daily before going to sleep.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a calm herb which shows its effect immediately. This herb is useful in relieving nervous tension. Take one teaspoon of powdered chamomile, mix it with a glass of juice and drink it.

Damiana

This herb is beneficial for treatment of bedwetting. Mixture of horsetail and Damiana herb is ideal tonic for bedwetting.

Corn Silk


Corn silk has got various medicinal properties which assist in treatment of nervous system. This herb is helpful in eliminating excess water from your body.

Plantain

Herbs of plantain also help in alleviating bedwetting. These herbs can be used in daily food. This herb provides better results if mixed with a pinch of corn silk. Additionally, this mixture is effective for urinary system.

Licorice Roots

Another effective herb used for treatment of bedwetting is licorice roots. Consume licorice before going to bed. This helps in regulating blood sugar also.

Buchu

Buchu is another famous herb which helps in controlling bedwetting to a great extent. You are advised to consume this herb as tea daily at night. Leaves of Buchu herb helps in treatment of bladder infections and kidney issues. Alternatively, boil these leaves and strain it. Next morning, drink this water on empty stomach.

Urva Ursi


Herbal tea made from Urva ursi herb helps in reducing the problem of bedwetting. Alternatively, place this herb in sunlight to dry. After getting dried, grind it and make a paste. Take one spoon of paste daily before going to bed. You can also add sugar to taste.

Cinnamon

If you are having the problems of bedwetting then try cinnamon. Chew one small piece of cinnamon bark daily. This is one of the simplest herbal remedies which show instant effect. Apart from this, you can also rely on jaggery as it has got heating properties. Mix jaggery in a glass of lukewarm milk and drink it.
