5 Herbal Remedies For Pain

Share

Pain can be caused by overworked muscles especially when the muscles are not used to too much work. The muscle fibers break down which is what causes pain.  Besides the tiny tears inflammation also occurs in the muscle which gives rise to stiffness and soreness.

Another cause of pain can be a cramp which is an acute spasm of the muscle and which brings such intense pain that it has you in agonizing throes within minutes. When something interferes with the contraction and relaxation of the muscle, the muscle is unable to come back in its relaxing mode.

The blood flow is considerably restricted in the contracted muscle and this brings a cramp and excruciating pain. Pain is also caused by muscle spasms. The muscle stores energy in the form of glucose.

If the muscle uses up all its energy and if too many waste products have built up in the muscle then it goes into a spasm which in turn slows the blood flow and causes pain. Pain greatly interferes with your physical activity and it can also affect your health and well being.
