Metabolic rate plays an important role in maintaining right weight and faster weight loss. It is actually the amount of calories a body uses to maintain its important function. The higher metabolism means body is burning more calories to perform a function. On the other hand, lower metabolism means body is burning fewer calories to perform a particular function. So, when body will burn more calories, automatically there will be lesser calories storage inside and thus less fat and person will remain slim. So, if you want to have faster weight loss then, it is best to keep your metabolism up. You should eat ample amount of fruits and vegetables to boost your metabolism. Veggies and fruits are excellent resource of fiber, nutrients as well as water. Daily intake of fruits and veggies in diet either in cooked or raw form will help you to improve your basal metabolic rate (BMR).

Drink Plenty Of Water:

70 percent of our body is made of water and for proper functioning of all the organs as well as for faster weight loss; you need to take enough water. It is recommended to have 1 litre of water for 20 KG weight. This also helps in boosting metabolic rate.

Eat Whole Grain Rather Refined:

Whole grains contain more fiber and nutrients then refined. So, if you want to lose weight by just working on your metabolism then eat more whole grain like sprouts, wheat and pulses.
