Brush Properly

It is advisable to brush atleast twice in a day. An individual should develop the habit of brushing at night before going to bed. This can be considered as one of the most effective home remedies to deal with the problem of bad breath.

Clean Tongue

An individual should keep his/her tongue clean in order to reduce the problem of bad breath. This can be done with the help of tongue cleaner (easily available in the market). A practice of cleaning tongue after brushing (teeth) can give long lasting results to the individual. In case it is not possible to get a tongue cleaner, an individual can also use toothbrush as an alternative (to clean the tongue).

Remove Tension And Stress

Tension and stress can also result in bad breath. It is advisable for an individual suffering from the problem of bad breath to reduce tension and mental stress. Meditation can help an individual in dealing with issues like tension and stress.

Drink Water

Drinking water on a regular basis can also help an individual in treating bad breath. Dry mouth can result in bad breath. Drinking water helps in keeping the mouth wet and improves digestion system of the individual. Improper digestion is another cause of bad breath.

Eat Cheese

Consumption of cheese can also help an individual in dealing with the problem of bad breath. Cheese can be consumed directly or as part of any other food item. It is generally advisable to eat fresh cheese to obtain better results.

Chew Different Types Of Seeds

An individual can also chew clove, cardamom, or fennel seeds after having a meal to treat bad breath. This remedy can be easily used by working professionals.

Use Baking Soda

An individual can also use baking soda (as an alternative to toothpaste) to brush teeth. This remedy can be used by adding few drops of water to baking soda and creating a paste. Gargling with a mix of baking soda and lukewarm water can also give desired results.

Wash Your Mouth

Keeping mouth clean is essential to deal with the problem of bad breath. It is always advisable to wash mouth after having a meal. Simply rinsing your mouth with water can also reduce bad breath.

Drink Tea

An individual can also drink green and black tea to treat bad breath. It is generally said that the consumption of green and black tea can help in reducing the bacteria responsible for causing bad breath. Another possible option is to drink tea prepared with the use of fenugreek seeds.

Consume Fresh Vegetables And Fruits

An individual can consume fresh vegetables like carrots and celery to deal with bad breath. In addition to fresh vegetables, consumption of fresh fruits like apple, orange, guava, papaya and so on can also reduce the problem of bad breath. It is very important for the individual to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to improve digestive system. Proper digestion can help in reducing the problem of bad breath. Consumption of fresh fruit and fresh vegetable juices can also help in treatingbad breath.

Gargle With Salt Water

Another home remedy to deal with the problem of bad breath is to gargle regularly with salt water. This remedy can be used twice in a day or even after every meal to obtain effective results.

Drink Lemon Water

An individual can also consume lemon water to obtain desired results. Consumption of  lemon water after every meal can give more effective results. Even gargling with lemon water can be considered as an effective home remedy to deal with the problem of bad breath.

Try Apple Cider Vinegar

An individual can also use apple cider vinegar as a mouthwash to treat bad breath. This mouthwash can be easily prepared by mixing  apple cider vinegar (half tablespoon) with water. It is advisable to gargle with this mix for around 10-15 seconds in order to obtain desired results.

Add Tea Tree Oil To Toothpaste

An individual can simply add tea tree oil to toothpaste to deal with the problem of bad breath. Simply adding a drop of this oil (to the toothpaste) can give highly effective results. Another alternative is to prepare a mouthwash by adding three to four drops of tea tree oil in a cup/glass of lukewarm water. This mixture can again be used for gargling and cleaning the mouth.

Chew Mint Leaves

Another home remedy to deal with bad breath is to chew mint leaves after every meal. It also helps in keeping the mouth fresh. An individual can also chew sugar free mint gum to reduce bad breath.

Consume Zinc Rich Foods

Consumption of foods with high zinc levels can be considered as an alternative home remedy to deal with bad breath. This remedy can help in reducing the growth of bacteria responsible for bad breath.

Chew Sunflower Seeds And Parsley Leaves

An individual can also chew sunflower seeds after every meal to treat bad breath. It is advisable to drink a glass of water after chewing sunflower seeds to obtain better results. Another remedy for bad breath is parsley. An individual can also chew parsley leaves (after every meal) to deal with bad breath.

Besides above mentioned home remedies, an individual should try to avoid items like onion, garlic, alcohol and so on to deal with the problem of bad breath.
