Milk is the best deep pore cleanser. It removes all the dirt and grime from the face while maintaining the moisture of the skin. Apply unboiled milk on your face with the help of a cotton swab and scrub the face gently. Afterwards wash the face with normal water.
Massage your face regularly with fresh cream to lubricate dry face. It also helps to reduce acne scars and blemishes. Mix a few drops of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric powder with one tea spoon of fresh cream.
Apply the paste on your face and neck in circular motions and wash it off with warm water. Your skin will become soft, supple and glowing.
Almond oil contains a high amount of vitamin E, it helps to maintain youthfulness of the skin and it improves the texture of the skin. Apply a few drops of almond oil on your face and massage for 2-3 minutes. Afterwards wash it off with normal water.
Olive Oil Massage your face with olive oil to maintain a smooth and soft skin. Olive oil contains monounsaturated fats and vitamin E. It softens the skin and prevents premature wrinkles.
Mix together one part glycerine, one part rose water and ½ part lemon juice. Store the mixture in a bottle and apply on dry face every night in winters to moisturise and tone the skin. It will make your skin glow.
Papaya nourishes dry skin, it tightens the skin pores and it helps to retain natural moisture of the skin. Apply papaya face mask once a week on your face and neck to treat dry face.
Take ½ cup mashed papaya, add 1 tea spoon honey and 2 table soon yogurt to it. Mix well and apply on your face and neck. Leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse it off with normal water.
Extract Aloe Vera gel from the leaf and apply it directly all over your face and neck to moisturise the skin. Wash it off after 10 minutes. Aloe Vera has anti aging properties.
Water keeps you hydrated from within. You should drink at least 1 litre of water every day to prevent dryness on the face.
Eat fresh fruits and vegetables with high water content to maintain a healthy skin. Watermelon, musk melon, cucumber, bottle gourd, citrus fruits, strawberries, pineapple, avocado and green leafy vegetables should be included in your daily diet. Limit the consumption of tea and coffee as they dehydrate the skin.
