Applying bleach can help in curing the infection. Bleach is known to destroy germs. Soaking a washcloth into bleach and water for a couple minute and then applying the mixture to the affected area will bring desired relief. This procedure should be done four times a day for better result.

Salt

Salt is enriched with moisture absorbing particles. This quality makes salt a great cure of jock itch. It is not difficult to use either. One can add large amount of salt to the bathing water and soak for half an hour. It will relax the muscles and the salt will soak the moisture from the affected area. Applying this method twice daily will cure the rashes completely.

Garlic

Garlic is another effective home remedy which is known to cure jock itch. To make a useful ointment, one can mix two cloves of garlic into a cup of olive oil.Application of this homemade ointment is a great remedy of jock itch.
