Salt

Using beetroot can also help in reducing dandruff. But treatment using beetroot can be quite messy and you must take extra care. You must first boil beetroots in water such that the entire essence is taken out.
You can then apply this water all over your scalp with soft hands before sleeping. Make sure that the entire scalp is covered, especially those areas where dandruff is more severe. Wake up in the morning and wash your hair thoroughly.
Green Gram Powder
A paste of green gram powder made in curd is a great rescuer for dandruff troubles. Proportion should be at least two table spoons of green gram powder in one cup of curd mixed well. Doing this twice or thrice in a week will give a relief from scaly and itchy dandruff.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar helps in curing many diseases and problems, one of which is dandruff. Mix water and apple cider vinegar in equal proportion and mop your scalp properly with cotton. Keep it on for about half an hour.
When you wash your hair after 30 minutes, the dandruff will drain off easily. This is because apple cider vinegar will help in loosening the dandruff’s hold.
