How To Get Rid Of Ulcers

Share

Ulcers are generally caused by a poor life style, a steady diet of fast food or junk food, undue stress, excessive stomach acid secretion, overindulgence in fatty foods, alcohol, caffeine and tobacco. These habits contribute to a buildup of stomach acids that eventually corrode the protective lining of the esophagus, stomach and the intestines. Many people suffer from the burning and gnawing pain in the abdomen at some point in their lives.

A recent theory proclaims that bacterial infection is the primary cause of peptic ulcers which are formed when the lining of the stomach and the upper part of the small intestine become perforated with holes. Other factors such as overuse of painkillers, antibiotics which destroy the healthy flora of the gut and advancing age can also contribute to ulcers. As age advances, the muscle valve between the stomach and duodenum relaxes allowing excess flow of bile which can irritate the stomach lining and lead to ulcers.

Eat a bowl of fresh papaya twice daily to get rid of the ulcers.

Raw Honey

Raw honey has innumerable medicinal values which are very beneficial to the body in many ways. It is a very effective remedy for ulcers because it contains certain enzymes which produce hydrogen peroxide which kills the harmful bacteria and prevents it from damaging the protective lining of the stomach and the intestines.
