You can also take it in the form of capsule. This is a very effective remedy for night sweats as licorice root reduces the production of estrogen but increases that of progesterone thereby controlling night sweats.

Agnus Castus

Have this at least 2 times every day as it will to increase the production of the hormone progesterone which in turn balances and even minimizes the effects of another hormone estrogen in the body. Thus it will also reduce sweating and help to get rid of night sweats.

By Using Sage Oil

Take a dried herb (¼ teaspoon) in a cup of boiling water. Steep it for 5 minutes and then have the tea. You can add sage oil (5 drops) to your bath water and then take a shower with that water at least during the night before going to bed or massage your body with sage oil mixed with some olive oil.

This is very effective in balancing the production of the hormones, thus allowing the body to cool down and get rid of night sweats.
