Many people complain of a dry and patchy scalp which causes several discomforts. Dry scalp is a commonly found medical condition caused by a shortage of some necessary lubricants in the oil glands present in our scalp. Various factors attributed to dry scalp may include lack of natural oils, any environmental changes, excessive application of hair-care products, dietary defects, high level of stress, and some other medical reasons.

A large number of people suffer from dry scalp across the world. Too much exposure to the sun also makes the scalp dry. Another reason is that frequent use of shampoo leaves the scalp dry. Having a dry scalp will not always need a doctor’s attention; it can be treated by applying some natural methods, prepared at home. Many people have benefited by using them. Apart from treating dry scalp, these methods offer several other benefits to your scalp, thus leaving your hair smooth and strengthened.
