Neem Leaves

Neem is full of anti-bacterial properties and famous for its medicinal uses. It is mostly used in treating skin problems as it kills bacteria and protects skin from infection that is effective way to cure skin problems. Due to these beneficial qualities it is superb remedy for curing heat rash naturally.

Collect some fresh neem leaves, wash them well and grind to make paste. Spread it all over the heat rash affected area and let it dry. Wash it off with water thoroughly. You will get double benefit if you have any other skin problem as it will not only treat heat rash but also control other skin problem.

Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera is called natural healer and known as miracle plant. It contains vitamins A, B, C and E, anti-oxidants, anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces inflammation and irritation as well as promotes skin healing process.

Cut one fresh aloe vera leaf and squeeze gel from it. Spread it evenly on all over the affected area and leave for 30 minutes. Then wash it off with water thoroughly. Repeat this remedy thrice a day till proper relief.

Fuller’s Earth (Multani Mitti)

Fuller’s earth, best known as multani mitti is a natural cleanser that is high in minerals and absorbs oil from the skin. It also improves blood flow to the facial skin that helps in healing skin quickly. It soothes the skin reducing inflammation and itching.

Take some fuller’s earth and soak it in water for overnight. Next day, dissolve it in that water adding little rosewater to make a fine paste. Apply thin layer of this paste on all over the affected area. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash your skin with cool water and pat dry or let it dry naturally.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal has high content of omega-3 fatty acids, beta-glucan, thiamine, anti-oxidants and iron. It is frequently used as one of the best home remedies for heat rash as it provides significant relief from prickly heat and itching. It opens up the clogged pores and promotes healing process of skin as well.

Just pour 1 cup oatmeal in your bathing water and soak it for 20 minutes. Then immerse your body in the water and let it get relaxed. It will soothe skin reducing itchy sensation and inflammation of prickly heat.

Gram Flour

Gram flour, also known as chickpea flour or besan is one of the perfect cures for heat rash. It not only removes dead skin cells but also reveals beneath hiding smooth and supple layer of skin. It soothes the skin relieving inflammation and itching as well as opens up the clogged pores.

Take 1 cup gram flour, 2 tsp. rosewater and water to make thin paste. Apply thin coat of this paste on your skin. Let it dry and then wash it off with cold water. Pat you skin dry with soft towel gently as harsh rubbing can cause problem.

Baking Soda Cool Compress

Baking soda is one of the effective ways to treat heat rash as it not only soothes skin but also reduces itching that plays major role in increasing prickly heat and non-stop inflammation. Just mix 1 tsp.

baking soda in 1 cup cold water and shake well. Then soak one clean piece of cloth in it and squeeze to remove extra water from it to prepare cool compress. Put it directly on the affected area and leave for a while. Repeat it three to four times a day to get significant results.

Sandalwood

Sandalwood possesses anti-septic, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties that help in soothing skin relieving inflammation and healing skin effectively.  It cleans skin deeply and prevents infections as well.

Just mix 4-5 tsp. sandalwood powder and 2 tsp. rosewater to prepare a paste. Apply it on affected area and let it dry before rinsing your skin with water.
