How To Treat Lice

Lice can be commonly seen in school children as well as adults. The problem must be solved at the initial stage as it is sure to become worse at a later stage. Head lice are commonly transmitted from one head to the other.

They also grow rapidly and feed from the scalp. They are a type of parasite, which mainly feeds from scalp and stay on the hair shaft. They lay eggs near the hair shaft and close to the scalp. Lice have the property to crawl at a faster rate. Hence, they need to be removed in order to maintain a healthy scalp.

Various Methods To Treat Lice

Use Of Nit Comb

People facing the problem of lice mainly can be seen with nit combs in their hands. They face an itching sensation in the scalp. This is a bit irritating as these can also lead to pain in the scalp.

A fine nit comb can be used in order to drag the lice from the hair. Tea tree oil can also be applied to the nit comb. With proper combing the hair regularly, the entire problem of lice can be easily removed. This will also help to remove the lice as well as their eggs.

Use Of Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is generally considered as an insecticide that can solve much of the problem. This particular oil can be easily mixed with shampoo and can be applied to the hair.

With regular application of such mixture, the entire lice can be eliminated from the hair. The tea tree oil should not be directly applied to the scalp as it can lead to minor problems. The same oil can be mixed with water and then sprayed on the hair. It is followed by combing the hair for removing the lice.

Use Of Neem Oil Shampoo

Neem oil is same as the tea tree oil. It is considered as one of the best insecticide due to its bitter property. The same oil is used to clean the pests from the plants. It is very effective in treating lice and removes them from the head.

A shampoo containing neem oil can also be used for the best kinds of results. It is very easy to apply the same on the hair, which will remove the lice straight from the hair.

Use Of Apple Cider Vinegar

People suffering from excessive lice in their hair can rinse their hair with vinegar. After shampooing, the hair must be rinsed well in vinegar in order to remove the lice. The nits will then be removed from the hair shaft. Vinegar is having good composition that can easily help to treat the lice problem at the same time.

Using Natural Oil Treatment

With the use of sesame seeds as well as neem oils, the proper kind of oil treatment can be easily taken. These oils are anti fungal, anti bacterial and can clear all insecticides. After applying apple cider vinegar the hair must be dried.

These oil treatments must be applied after it. With the help of these treatments, the lice are entirely removed along with their eggs from the hair shaft.
