Nausea is a very distressing and uncomfortable sensation which makes one want to vomit. It can ruin your perfect day and prevent you from doing what you wanted to do and from eating as well and make you feel ill and indisposed. If the duration of this sensation is for a short while then one can easily put up with its discomfort and be happy again but if the symptom continues for a prolonged period of time then it can be very debilitating.

Nausea is a symptom of innumerable underlying diseases and disorders and mainly disorders and ailments of the gastrointestinal tract such as indigestion, bloating, stomach flu, diarrhea, constipation and other upper gastrointestinal illnesses. Nausea can also be caused by acute pain, psychological problems, motion and certain medications. Pregnant women too often have nausea especially in the morning.

5 Ways To Treat Nausea

Ginger

Ginger can relive nausea very quickly and effectively. Chop some ginger into small pieces and fill a glass jar with it. Squeeze the juice of lemons into the jar till all the pieces of ginger are well soaked into it.

Add some salt and pepper and put the jar out in the sunlight for a couple of days. Whenever you feel nauseous, just chew a few pieces of ginger from your jar. You will feel better instantly. Ginger will promptly settle all your various stomach problems.

Lemon

Cut a lemon into half. With the help of a fork insert some salt and pepper into both the halves of the lemon and heat them on a low flame for a half a minute.

Suck the warm juice from both the lemon halves. Lemon will cure your nausea and if you have any gastric problem like gas, indigestion or bloating lemon will also address it instantly and will make you feel well again.

Peppermint Tea

Peppermint has superb soothing and cooling properties which can calm an upset stomach instantly. Its anti-inflammatory properties can also reduce the swelling and soothe the irritated lining of the stomach and the esophagus.

Boil a cup of water and add one teaspoon of dried peppermint to it. Cover the cup and after ten minutes strain the tea and drink three or four cups of it after short intervals.

Ajwain

Ajwain has amazing medicinal values which can cure a host of diseases and ailments within a short time. It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can help relieve nausea very quickly.

Boil a cup of water and add half a teaspoon of ajwain seeds to it. Continue boiling on a low heat for half a minute then turn off the heat. Allow the tea to stand for ten minutes then strain it, add some sugar and drink it. 

Clove And Cardamom

Whenever you feel nauseous just pop one clove and one cardamom into your mouth and keep sucking on them slowly.

Clove and cardamom will instantly ease the pressure in the stomach by helping to expel the accumulated gas either through a loud burp or through flatus and will cure nausea.
