Include burdock root in the daily diet by adding it to foods you eat. Add it while cooking stir-fried vegetables. People in the Asian countries like Japan eat burdock root in the food. It is a rich source of essential fatty acids, which helps in reducing inflammation and joint pain. Thus, include the herb in your diet.
For making the burdock root tea, you need chopped burdock root. Take about two tablespoons of fresh burdock root. You will also need two cups water to prepare the tea.
Boil water and add the chopped pieces of burdock root in a fresh form. Cook the water on a slow flame for ten minutes. Switch off the flame. Use a sieve for straining the tea. Drink the tea slightly hot. The daily intake of this tea for joint pain should be about three cups.
For making the tea from dry burdock, you will need about one tablespoon dry burdock. This measurement is for making one cup tea. You will also need one cup water.
Steep the dry burdock in boiling water for about fifteen minutes. After that, strain the tea and drink it warm. Take the burdock root tea four times daily for getting relief from joint pain.
