5 Natural Cures For Baldness

Baldness is complete or partial loss of hair on the scalp. The medical term for baldness is alopecia. This condition not only affects the scalp but also areas of hair growth such as the armpits, pubic region, eyelashes and eyebrows. Every individual loses some hair everyday but excessive loss of hair and absence of new growth results in baldness.

In men this problem does not cause much embarrassment since a clean shaven pate is very much in fashion but for women it is excruciatingly painful as it affects their looks and personality. They tend to lose their self esteem which results in deep embarrassment and depression. Baldness is caused by hereditary factors, damaged hair follicle, poor nutrition, certain medications and diseases, harsh shampoos, hair treatments like; dyeing, bleaching and straightening and hormonal changes.

Tips To Cure Baldness Naturally

Amla

Amla  is a fountain of nutrients that are beneficial in treating a number of ailments. It strengthens the hair follicles and encourages hair growth. Take four teaspoons of amla powder and boil in one litre of water.

Boil for ten minutes and leave overnight. In the morning strain the water and mix multani mitti to form a paste. Apply all over the scalp including the roots of the hair. Leave for half an hour and then wash off. Do not use any shampoo. Repeat this three times a week and continue for a long period of time.

Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is very popular in treating a host of health conditions. It is full of vitamins and minerals. It kills bacteria and fungus and nourishes and heals the body. Grate one whole fresh coconut and blend it in a mixer with a little water. Strain and squeeze the pulp to extract the milk.

Massage the scalp thoroughly and see that the roots of the hair are completely infused with the milk. Wash off with warm water. Do this two or three times a week. Your hair will be totally nourished, it will stop falling and new growth will take place.

Lettuce

Lettuce is rich in vitamins and minerals salts that are alkaline in nature. It has many health building properties and is a cleansing agent which keeps the blood clean. It prevents hair fall and cures baldness.

Extract half a litre of lettuce juice and mix it with half a litre of spinach juice. Apply to the scalp making sure that the hair roots are completely soaked in it. Repeat this procedure three times a week regularly, to gain back you hair.

Castor Oil

Castor oil has many medicinal uses. Its antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial proprieties make it a much sought after remedy for a wide range of ailments. It controls hair loss, stimulates and strengthens the hair follicles and prevents baldness.

Massage the scalp with castor oil till the skin starts tingling. Rub this oil every night till the bald patches disappear and you regain your hair.

Onion Massage

Onion is a store house of medicinal qualities and values. It is the cheapest and the easiest remedy to prevent baldness. Extract the juice of two big onions and mix it with honey. Rub the bald patches with this mixture energetically till the skin becomes red. Repeated use will cause the hair to grow back.
