Scabies is a skin infection that can affect people of all ages from all social groups. It is caused by mites who attack the skin and burrow under it.They lay eggs under the skin where they breed and spread to other areas of the body. The mites and its deposits of feces produce intense itching making blisters and red patches erupt on the skin.
It is extremely contagious and can be contracted by simple contact with an affected person or by using that person’s clothes, bed linen, towels and other personal effects. The first symptom is uncontrollable itching and scratching. Next small sores and bumps appear on the skin affecting areas like armpits, sides of fingers, and the inside of the wrists. Sometimes small threadlike grey furrowed lines can also appear.

It is antifungal, antiseptic and very useful and effective in all kinds of skin disorders. Boil a sheaf of neem leaves together with the branches in lots of water. Boil for ten minutes.
When the water is cool enough, remove the sheaf and bathe. To disinfect yourself it is imperative that you bathe with this neem water daily, till you are completely cured. Rub neem oil twice a day, all over the affected areas. Rub gently till all the oil is absorbed by the skin. The skin will get moisturized and the itching will diminish. The mites will gradually die.
Tea tree oil has been used since ancient times for treating various infections, disorders and illnesses. It is a natural disinfectant, antibacterial, anti fungal and antimicrobial. It is a superb remedy for scabies. Soak your body in a tub of warm water to which eight to ten drops of tree oil has been added.
See that all the infected areas are completely immersed. Do not put this water on your face. After your bath, dry yourself and apply tea tree oil directly on all the affected areas. Apply this two or three times daily till the itching subsides and the scabies mites perish.
