Asthma is a chronic disease which leads to the inflammation of the airway and obstruct the airflow to and from the lungs. People suffering from this disease are called asthmatic. In asthma case the walls of the airway becomes narrow and thus less air pass through them which causes breathing problems, coughing and other problems. Asthma attack may be because of various reasons such as allergies hereditary, environment etc.

Parsley leaves can play a major role in bringing relief. Generally during the asthma attack person suffers with cough and mucous. Parsley leaf helps in reducing cough and also helps in throwing up the mucous which is trapped in the airways, and makes breathing easy.
Parsley leaves also help in strengthens the chest muscle and soothes the throat. It can also be consumed in the form of a herbal tea. With the regular use of parsley leaves the chances of asthma attack can be reduced.
Ginger is another important herb in treating asthma attack, as ginger has anti inflammatory properties in it. In the case of asthma attack the airways gets inflimated and hence the breathing becomes difficult.
Ginger helps to reduce the inflammation and makes the breathing easy. Ginger can be consumed in either of the ways, cut small pieces of ginger and boil it in water let this solution cool down and then drink it, or else mix ginger juice with honey and soaked fenugreek seeds; this can be taken twice in a day.
Massage can help person suffering from asthma attack as it will clear the respiratory passage and allows easy breathing. Take some mustard oil and mix it with little camphor and use this solution to massage the back of the chest but do not put too much of pressures ,try to keep it gentle. This massage can be repeated twice or thrice in a day. The massage will help and bring relief.
Coffee contains caffeine which is beneficial in case of asthma attack. If a person is suffering from asthma attack we can give him a cup of coffee without milk.
The stronger the coffee the greater is the result as the coffee clears the airways and brings relief to the person. It helps to reduce asthma attack, a person can consume two to three cups of coffee in a day.
Homeopathic remedies can be vital in asthma attack, however if the attack is very sever the medical attention can be sleeked. Homeopathic medicine can help in preventing and curing attack to the great extend. There are many homeopathic medicines which are available but it should be taken with care.

Asthma attack is generally due to inflammation of airways. Food can play important role in preventing and treating asthma attack. Avoid dairy product, fried food and animal protein. Increase the in take of water. Consumption of fresh fruits and vegetable is also beneficial.
