Natural Cures For Urticaria

Share

Urticaria is a skin condition that is characterized by an outbreak of swollen, red and itchy bumps, patches or welts on the skin. The outbreaks are sudden and they cause intense burning, itching and stinging. The patches can appear anywhere on the body but they are more common on the face, lips, tongue, ears and throat.

The rashes consist of tiny goose like bumps or large welts which spread over large areas of the body. The rashes usually fade away in a few hours’ time or a few days’ time but in rare cases they become chronic and last for more than a month. Urticaria is mostly brought on by allergic reactions which generate the release of histamines in the body. The histamines produce an inflammatory reaction which in turn leads to swelling, itching, redness and burning. Some people are allergic to certain foods, dust, pollen, pesticides, soaps, shampoos, hair sprays or any other harmless cleansing agent can cause a severe and distressing attack of urticaria.
