4 Essential Oils For Wrinkles

Rosewood Oil

Don’t confuse rosewood essential with rose oil due to its name. This essential oil is extracted from the bark of rosewood tress found in Brazil, Madagascar and Southeast Asia. With extraordinary rejuvenating properties, rosewood oil works very well to minimize wrinkles, fine lines, and ageing spots from the skin.

Rosewood oil has the capability to induce regeneration and new cell formation which helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the skin surface. While acting on scars, wrinkle and stretch marks, this oil also improves the tone of dull and dry skin keeping it young and firm forever. It can be applied directly on skin neat or diluted.

Frankincense Oil

The strong balsamic aroma of frankincense oil has soothing and invigorating effects on body as well as mind. Being cytophylactic in nature, this essential oil has unique qualities to restore and regenerate new and existing cells.

With unparalleled anti-ageing properties, frankincense oil helps to remove wrinkles and tighten lose and dropping skin. Along with this, it also improves dry skin condition, fade spots and stretch marks from the skin. The most effective way to use frankincense oil is by diluting it with carrier oil or a cream. Mix 1 % of the oil with 2 % of carrier oil or ointment.

Patchouli Oil

Patchouli essential oil is derived from the leaves of patchouli tree. This oil is extensively used in many skin products designed especially for ageing skin.

Along with having strong anti-ageing properties, patchouli oil also carry anti-inflammatory qualities and therefore acts well on wrinkled as well as acne prone skin. It also helps to reduce clogged pores leaving the skin smooth and silky.

Neroli Oil

Neroli essential oil is derived from the flowers of orange tree. It is great for dry, ageing and sensitive skin. The rejuvenating property of this oil is contributed by citral, an active compound found in the oil.

Citral induces the development of new cells on the skin surface replacing old ones thereby reduces wrinkles and fine lines from the skin. It also improves the skin tone by reducing stretch marks, spots, pores and broken capillaries. Use this oil along with face cream or carrier oil on skin to get rid of wrinkles and boast a youthful skin forever.
