This is another best head lice home remedy that helps you to get rid of head lice. All you have to do is take some fresh coconut oil and add some powder made up of camphor tablets in it. Once done, apply the mixture on your scalp before going to bed. In the morning, wash this mixture with the help of soap of shampoo and you will see a lot of head lice from your hair. The camphor powder suffocates the head lice and hence kills them thereby making you free from head lice. Make use of a head lice comb

Take some onions and make a juice of it and keep it in a bowl and apply it gently on your scalp with your fingers. Apply on roots of your hair as it will help you to get rid of nits as well. Apply An Apple

The best way to get rid of head lice is to use an apple. Yes you heard it right; an apple can really help you to get rid of head lice effectively. All you have to do is take an apple and chop it into few pieces. You then need to apply these pieces of apple on your head scalp. While applying, see to it that you apply it with a strong massaging action. Keep massaging your scalp for a period of half an hour. Do this at least for a period of one week and see you will be able to get rid of lice hair completely.

Apply A Mixture Of Garlic And Lemon Juice

One of the best home remedies for head lice is to apply a mixture of garlic and lemon juice. Take few cloves of garlic and crush them and make a paste out of them. Add some lemon juice in this paste and apply the mixture directly on your head before going to bed. Once you get up early in the morning, wash your head properly, you will see dead bodies of head lice coming out of your hair. This happens mostly because of the pungent smell of garlic. Do this for at least a period of 4-5 days and see you will get some positive results.

Make Use Of Essential Oils

Essential oils such as tea tree oil are also very effective in eliminating head lice. All you have to do is apply this oil on the hair of the person who has been infested with head lice and keep it for a period of 10-15 minutes. Once you do this, rinse off the oil with the help of warm water and then comb the hair using a head lice comb and see you will easily be able to get rid of head lice.

Like any other illness, it is better to prevent a head lice infestation than treat it. So, keep your hair clean by shampooing it regularly and try to avoid contact with people who you think may have a head lice infestation in order to avoid getting head lice yourself.
