Compress of cool and wet bags of chamomile can be used. Soak these tea bags in hot water and allow cooling down. Application of this solution over the eyes while lying down is beneficial.
Baby shampoo is useful in the treatment of blepharitis. Prepare a diluted solution of fifty percent baby shampoo. Take a wet and warm washcloth and apply the baby shampoo solution using index finger. Mild soap can also be used in place of baby shampoo. Rubbing the solution over the eyelids and eyelashes is recommended. Afterwards, rinse with warm and wet washcloth. Wash the eyes properly.
