1. Hawthornia

It is quite obvious that the name may bewilder you but hawthornia is quite renowned in China where it is used as a natural treatment for umbilical hernia. Hawthornia is nothing but a mixture of hawthorn, citrus seed, litchi seed and fennel. This blend is very useful in strengthening the weakened wall of the abdomen. If consumed early enough then hawthornia can actually obstruct the growth of the umbilical hernia and also limit their regrowth.

2. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is a powerful natural element that is known for its benefits all over the world. It can effectively treat a wide variety of ailments. Recent studies have also revealed that the nutritional properties of aloe vera can successfully be used in curing umbilical hernia as well. You can opt for eating raw pulp of the aloe vera plant or another better option is to drink a cup of aloe vera juice every morning and evening. This will make your abdominal wall strong enough to repair the umbilical hernia by itself.

3. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is highly efficient in treating umbilical hernia in children. 5. Shepherd’s Purse

Use shepherd’s purse as a tincture in order to reduce the size of your umbilical hernia and prevent its further growth and regrowth. This herb is a great astringent effect that is very vital in constricting the blood vessels and lessens the flow of blood, thus, treating umbilical hernia.

6. Lady’s Mantle
