Inflammation of the skin and a profound itchiness are the hallmark signs of a skin rash. Apart from this, the skin may flake, crust, ooze, redden or thicken depending on the type or the severity of the eczema or the allergy. Skin rashes can occur due to a wide variety of reasons, the most common being contact dermatitis or a hypoallergenic reaction to some substance in the environment. Most rashes would require some form of medical intervention but they can also be easily treated at home with the help of some simple home remedies.
